Arc Academy’s Open Shop gives qualified welders access to shop space and equipment for continued practice, skill development, and personal projects.
Membership is $105 per month and includes up to 40 hours of shop time, with a maximum of 10 hours per week and 5 hours per day. Additional hours are available for $10 per hour.
Approved non-members may also use Open Shop for $20 per hour.
Members must be at least 15 years old and may use only the tools, equipment, and welding processes they have been trained and approved to use. Members under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete all required forms and waivers.
Reservation times are available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week, excluding holidays, posted closures, classes, and times when staff or shop capacity is unavailable. Open Shop time must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance.
Open Shop is intended for practice and personal projects. It may not be used for commercial production or operating a private business.
Only current Arc Academy Open Shop members and approved hourly users who have completed and signed all required forms and waivers are permitted in the shop.
